What to look for in an experience
After choosing a question to try answering, think about what kind of experience would help you answer this question.
Action Item:
Reflect on which factors are most important to you in choosing an opportunity to pursue. Is it the chance to explore a specific interest or to use a specific skill set? Is it the chance to work with a particular person or in a certain location? Would you like the opportunity to try your hand at something, or are you just looking for information at this point? Maybe you’re open to trying almost anything, but timing is your critical issue — maybe you only have time to explore during a break from school.
Try to make your own list and prioritize the factors that matter most to you in your trail journal.
